The End of LGR Donations Unboxings!
Added 2024-12-20 00:20:11 +0000 UTCI'm calling it, folks! For a multitude of reasons which I go into at the end of the video, this is the final "donations unboxing" thing on LGR.
I will still do individual vids on special items that trickle in through the mail over on LGR Blerbs, but these long mailbag videos are done for the foreseeable future on LGR. Hopefully the reasons I provide in the video make sense!
Also I'm unsure if there will be another LGR episode by the end of December. Seeing as my birthday is tomorrow (🥳🎂) and I'm taking some time away to enjoy that, as well as lots of family and friends holiday celebratory things and hangouts coming up the following week. Eh, we'll see! For now I'm going to spend time with the most important people in my life and enjoy some Christmasy goodness. Take care, and have yourself a merry one till next time!

I have a Prometheus card that uses the Aria chipset as well as the much more interesting Diamond Sonic Pro, though the Sonic Pro had some issues with one of the stereo channels. We replaced the jack, but funny enough, I haven't tested it yet. Anyway, let me know.

It's the same reason why lithium ion batteries are banned from checked luggage: a fire from a battery is much more hazardous when it's in a place where there are no humans to take action. The sticker is needed to make it clear that the package can't be routed onto a flight.

I cannot imagine the heavy emotions that have come from Helene in regards to your personal losses but also for the loss of items that can be enjoyed by others. Selfishly speaking, I hope you do get to the point of collecting stuff again... I don't blame you for anything that happened. It's not like you didn't share the awesome things you had in a widely accessible way. With that being said, it's a LARGE responsibility of borrowing, shouting out, returning, and maintaining these items. I have no doubt you will figure out a happy medium. Just know that I (and many others) will support you in finding that endeavor.

I may have marked the little box for hazardous materials because they tell you to do that for anything that has a larger lithium battery. I also realized after the fact that the chocolate and coffee wasn't the best idea because of the gap between videos, but I sometimes get a little overzealous about repping my home. 😅 Completely understandable on ending the unboxing videos in light of your current situation and just rethinking things in life.
