I had one of those little yellow calculators as a kid. Then it broke when I was 5 and Dad brought me to the store to buy a new one, probably thinking I'd ask for some cheap and simple $5 thing... and yet I ended up wanting (and getting) a $20 scientific calculator... SO MANY BUTTONS! 8D (Also, 29 years later, I STILL have it!)

That helmet. Talk about odd-phreaking-swag. I'm sure there'd be enough of those to fill up an oddware video at some point. Yikes!
That little Aptiva module? Feels like the kind of module which sits on a PC-in-a-desk which one would have in a swanky-sci-fi film.
And those Lucasarts titles. So much raddness there :D

Your videos make my day. I'm loving the series.

I love these videos. It's always nice to see some of the old stuff people sent you, sometimes you can go "oh right, I had one of those" or "why would anyone think of creating that". Also, you are really enthusiastic and happy when you unpack these things, and that alone is worth watching.

How to beat packing peanuts:
Box top flaps, straight up, higher walls will keeps peanut in box as you dig around and extract.

I wonder what kinda stuff you get that you all ready have or perhaps obscene?

This makes me so incredibly happy to see. You're right, Clint, I was a HUGE Lucasarts fan, from the adventure games, on through the Star Wars programs. Played everything they ever produced up till I stopped gaming, even owned most of it boxed at one time or another. It's an amazing feeling to dig these leftover games out of my closet (forgot I even had them) and pass them down to someone who can really give them new life.
I included Trespasser, Freedom Fighters, and Exodus all for their slightly unusual qualities that endeared them to me for one reason or another. Not enough to make them hits by any means, but they each have a warm, fuzzy place in my heart. Thanks again for your hours of entertainment. Even though I'm not a gamer anymore, I'm always pleased by history and nostalgia, even when I'm just nostalgaing about the last time I nostalgia'd...

If this keeps up then you can just open up a museum that is comprised of nothing but stuff your fans have sent you. The center of the collection would be that one packing peanut.

I can imagine their impracticality, but I'm a sucker for any kind of hiding mechanism like that. Although, it doesn't feel very well-built so I bet it could fail after some years of use.

For a moment I thought that was Daisy Ridley on the front of that glare guard. I absolutely hated those IBM aptiva machines with the detached drives. I think it was one of the worst and most impractical designs ever.
