My reaction to using them was pretty similar to yours. Something along the lines of: "Oh man, this is cool. I'm surprised at how clear this is!" *2 minutes later* "These built in earbuds suck." *20 minutes later* "My eyes are hurting - better put my contact lenses in." *5 minutes later* "Nope, still straining with contacts in." *Takes off* Shame really, because it's a cool piece of kit otherwise. If dad still has them, I'll see if he'll give them to me or sell them cheap...
