I had a Bamboo and it worked very well, used it for years! Never had an Intuos though.

Not sure how hard the parts are to find, but from what I gather they aren't really worth fixing for the most part. Cost and time gets out of hand pretty quickly. Would still love to grab one!

Love Thrifts! Perfect way to end the weekend!
Would love to see one of those video disc players in action, I wonder how obscure replacement parts for them would be? I've acquired a boombox record player that needs some love and the tear-down instructions for it are mental, really complex analogue mechanics! *drools*

40 bugs for a bamboo. My advice trash that piece of junk. Had one of those once and it felt aweful. Okay I only bought it for drawing and working on the go but man compared to my intuos 4 it was just unusable. Also the software for that one is very clunky.

Wow. Three things I've been looking for that you passed up. Selectavision (although the stylus would probably need replaced), 7800, and bill Elliott's nascar challenge. I was a HUGE Bill Elliott fan growing up. I have the nes game and even the Konami handheld but not the pc game :(

And if it was a Palm, I probably would've. I've owned and still have several portable HP devices, I don't exactly have need or desire for another!

One of the Atari Flashback systems (the 1 or 2, I always forget) actually contains a "proper" Atari 2600 on-a-chip, can be modded with a cart slot to play actual 2600 games, and as such actually fetches more money than the others in the line.
That said, does the pricing dude/lady at Goodwill go looking for this type of thing and price appropriately? Doubtful!! :)

I guess the tail end of summer is gonna be a drain. Bit of a shame about the FB2 (especially for its modding capabilities) & the Odyssey. Both would have been neat finds at a more reasonable price :(
Those glasses look like a heck of an unique product too… fodder for a future Oddware? ;)

You're right. The pricing Goodwill has at times is ridculous. 49 bucks for a Flashback 2? I remember getting that AND a Sega Genesis (w/ 40 games) for 80 bucks. And that was 9 years ago. :P
And that Odyssey 200 price... yeesh. Just because something is old and boxed doesn't mean you can charge big prices for it. :
