We have a wildling mother and her kids in this one and Mulder mesmerised by her...for her to be gunned down by authority. She did chow down on a few people though prior to her death... I do wonder if this case would fall under the X Files though? In other news, Scully goes on a date and checks out early, reuniting with Mulder and getting back to work.

The best part of this episode, for me, is Gregory Sierra, who played the anthropologist. The late Mr. Sierra had been in a zillion different things, like Sanford and Son and All In The Family, and favorites of mine, such as Star Trek Deep Space Nine and Soap. The worst part, for me, is that this bears pretty much zero resemblance to the actual legend of the Jersey Devil. I realize that the Jersey Devil, in the X-Files, could be 1) expensive, 2) possibly silly, and 3) too weird, even after the Stretch Armstrong episode. In theory. 🙂

When I get emails I get the latest ones first so I read Pongs reply saying about spoilers first so I didnt even read the comment to avoid that. The only way I'd be really unlucky is if no one else commented on it before I checked my emails! This community is the best <3 no harm done Robert

I reviewed my post as quickly as I could and saw that I did provide a spoiler. I edited the comment, and hope that no damage was done. However, I don't think I'm THAT lucky.
