What a closing episode! I am very happy with that ending! You may not think that when you see the ugly crying within this reaction but trust me, I enjoyed it haha. The feels were very much there throughout this but it's been a lot of episodes with these characters and I was super connected. Peter mouthing, 'I love you Dad' asdfghjkkl!!!! Etta being with her happy parents again - Perfection! Thank you ALL so much for joining me on this journey! It's been incredible!

I wasn't ready for the end of my favorite show and this incredible journey with other great fans, so I procrastinated for a week. Which probably doesn't make any sense haha One thing I never noticed/grasped before is Michael playing the music box for September as he's dying. Michael often seems so aloof and emotionless, just because he doesn't experience emotions like anyone else. Knowing that the music box was a symbol of connection between the two of them, playing it for September as he lays dying is such a beautiful and touching gesture, in an episode filled with beautiful and touching gestures. And rewatches are probably what makes this show my favorite. It's wild how they use references to future episodes/plots and tug at your emotions about things that aren't even going to happen until seasons later. Such brilliant, next-level writing. It was truly a joy to watch your reactions to it and to see you fall in love with some of the best characters to ever be on TV. Thank you for the journey!

2025-08-21 03:50:44 +0000 UTCThis is my favourite show of all time and it has such a satisfyingly perfect ending. Thank you for reacting to it. This was my 5th rewatch watching along with you. You should definitely do a rewatch within the next couple of years. I think the show gets better with every rewatch. Really looking forward to The X files. I watched it a bit back when it was on TV but not consistently and I can't remember much. So will be good to dive back in. Good idea to not post the filler episodes too.
