Astrid and Walter melt me! Now that's out of the way, Peter the Observer is TERRIFYING! He plays it so well though. I'm very impressed. It's amazing seeing Nina again and the scene between her and Olivia was so touching too! I love the dynamics of this group so bloomin' much guys!!!

God there’s nothing like this show is there? Even after so many rewatches i still find myself surprised by just how much character work they do this season and how willing they are to push those characters to their absolute limits to show us how they will behave, that is such a bold move for a final season and really appreciate it. Peter observer is in full swing, Josh really went for it in this episode and in this arc in general, the mannerisms, speech patterns and thought process are all consistent with the observer that we have experienced throughout the show, what a fantastic performance. I like that you can see as the episode progress that he is becoming colder and colder and because of it his excuses to Olivia become gradually worse until he doesn’t even bother hiding at the end. And once again while i realize how dangerous what Peter is doing to himself is i just can’t help finding everything he does so freaking cool, they way they are showcasing his new powers is amazing. The parallel journey of Walter is also in full swing now, both of them are losing themselves in different ways and Olivia as always is in the middle to pick the pieces while trying to keep this family from imploding again, god the patience that woman has is astounding 😭. Nina the mvp for real this season and we haven’t even gotten to her best moment yet, her relationships with Both Walter and Bell were always fascinating to me and i’m glad that they put them at the center of this episode, she is pretty much the only person alive that ha seen all of the version and Walter and that gives a very unique perspective. And that last scene well… it kind of speaks for itself, it’s crazy thar even though this season is the shortest it’s actually the one that allowed the characters to really sit on their thoughts and ponder what is happening to them, it doesn’t rush things in any ways even though the stakes are the highest in the whole show, i really don’t know how they did it.

2025-07-25 16:09:14 +0000 UTCA consistent part of Fringe throughout the show, but more so towards the end, is the depth of the characters and their internal struggles with existential questions regarding themselves, their relationship to each other, and to the world around them. We're one episode away from 2 of my favorite episodes of this season. 9 and 10. Such character arcs! and strong messages! Very important to pay attentions to every word they say!
