2025-06-19 05:16:09 +0000 UTCJoining in the chorus of the trailer not being super impresive, but I think that's partly because it comes off as generic action hero rather than them having shown us anything that differentiates this character from others. Aside from the potential death-wish, which hearkens back to Martin Riggs in Leathal Weapon, what makes this character someone we should care about? We got that with Beau Arlen as he figured out how to work with women in the field and in his relationship with his daughter, and Solder Boy is certainly a role that's brutally different from Dean Winchester. That's what I'm hoping to see if I get around to watching this (gotta finish catching up with Fringe first!) - what makes this guy tick, if you'll pardon the joke.
