Update on schedule for this week

My grandmother started working when she was thirteen years old in Chile, to provide for a household of five.
After she was married and created a family, she choose the life altering decision of bringing everyone she loved to the U.S. for the chance of living the American dream.
She and my grandfather opened several businesses, from a bakery, to Capricorn Deli in DuPont Circle, to a nightclub. After all that, she then owned a catering business which she left in the capable hands of one of her mentees, so it's still running to this day.
My grandmother was the alpha in every business venture she started. An unstoppable force when it came to providing for her family.
With others, she created a prominent Chilean community in DC and MD that is still going strong today. I'm proud that despite being so far from home, there was always a piece of it here through the community I grew up in.
Her brothers followed in her steps, being able to create their own versions of the American dream alongside her.
Several decades later, her vision has been realized. My entire family is financially sound, with the younger generation having plenty of opportunities we wouldn't have been given back home. The successes we have are because of her sacrifices.
To say her passing leaves a big void in our family is an understatement.
My grandmother was and is a big inspiration to me, that sometimes the most scary life altering decisions can turn out the most amazing and unimaginable results.
I'll forever miss her.

I'll be taking a week off to grieve properly with my family. I have multiple videos planned for YouTube and Patreon when I come back - including two Heartstopper reactions. Thank you for being understanding and I'll see you all soon.
