August and Wilhelm face off over how to resolve a disciplinary problem at school; Sara revels in hanging out with Felice and her friends. Then, Wilhelm feels conflicted about how to handle the aftermath of the leaked video while Simon fends off the press; Felice makes a discovery.

I try to remind myself constantly that a lot of these characters are young teenagers, and that I made a lot of mistakes at that age too - although, none as big as August's, I will say that lol you do have a point that for Wilhelm, it's more than just his mother's words, it's the words of the Queen. Thank you for pointing out the difference between parenting when it comes to Kristina and Linda. You definitely see it in the way they comfort their children. Kristina seemed much colder towards Wilhelm when he was upset about the video being leaked, but Linda was trying her best to make Simon feel better after Wilhelm's statement by giving him stuff to comfort him, soothing him, and reminding him that he's a strong boy. You definitely see the difference in parenting.

And also thank you for giving me even more reason to love the friendship between Sara and Felice. I feel like you articulated it a lot better than I could. I really enjoy their friendship and I hope it continues to stay that way for the next two seasons, because I will be so upset if it doesn't lol

2024-06-06 11:04:00 +0000 UTCI love that you were upset for Simon but didn't instantly be like "Screw Wilhelm" like I've seen other reactors do. I think some forget this is a child too. He's sixteen and I fully think when he left his dorm room he was going to not do the statement. It wasn't just only his mother manipulating and guilting him it was the Queen. Someone he had been told his whole life listening to. It doesn't matter it's just a title and doesn't mean anything to regular people, it means something to him because that's how he was conditioned. Also you can totally see the differences in mothers here. Linda would do anything to make sure her kids were happy, healthy and safe. Kristina only cares about how this looks. She doesn't care about him proved by as soon as he gave the statement she wanted where was she? She and the rest of the court f-ed off to places unknown because they were done using Wille in the process taking away the only person left that gave a damn about him as a person not a prop.

2024-06-05 00:20:51 +0000 UTCSo, Sara hasn't told Simon about August making and leaking the video. Simon doesn't know about it. I love that you are trying to figure out Sara's motivations. One thing to remember about her is that she was bullied so badly at the local school Marieberg that Rosh and Ayub go to, that she had to repeat a year. This is why she's in the same school year as her younger brother Simon. It's assumed she was bullied for her autism and adhd. This is also why Simon goes to the same school as her. He left his old school too so that she wouldn't be alone at Hillerska and he could watch out for her. Sara tells him that he can go back to his old school and she'll be fine in episode one. She really wants her independence and doesn't like that Simon feels that he has to protect her and she feels like a burden. The way she was treated in her last school is why she thinks that people don't like her the way she is (even though Felice and obviously her family love who she is). She too is baffled by why Felice has chosen to be her friend. You were puzzled too when the change happened between her and Felice. I think Felice sees a totally honest person who doesn't posture for status and is just herself. I think Felice feels seen by Sara in a real way. After all, Sara has seen her at her worst when she was struggling with horse riding and lashing out at her. Sara was still supportive and stuck around. Felice is presenting on her Instagram and to her peers as perfect popular girl, the way her mother wants her to. But with Sara, she can be accepted as herself.
