I think Tarence probably already knows he was wrong about Renee in the most recent episode but I just wanted to comment here to clear up his confusion. Renee was not a “suburban mom” and her wife was coparenting their kindergartener with her — I don’t know if Renee referred to herself as a single mom or not but I, like many queer people, don’t appreciate the erasure of her wife. She was not a trained legal observer but she and her wife were there to disrupt and observe ICE (after dropping off her kid at school, yes). If you read her wife’s statement or watched some of the videos, it’s clear that she was there to protect her community. She didn’t have to be an activist to care about her neighbors and show up for them. I think it’s a disservice to her memory to pretend otherwise. I honestly think this mistake warrants a correction in the next Patreon or main feed episode.
