[0.3] Progress Update #03

Hey hey!

It’s been three weeks since the last progress update, and quite a lot has moved forward since then!

The scene I mentioned last time, focusing on Sylvia, is now complete. It’s a dialogue that leads to an important choice about your relationship with her, and wraps up with a super cute little musical sequence. I’m really happy with how it turned out, it actually came out better than what I had in mind when I first planned it over a year ago. Even though it doesn’t include any lewd content, it will still be replayable from the gallery and marked as SFW (Safe for Work).

No matter what you decide before this sequence, the story will move on to a new h-scene with Sylvia, with two small variations depending on your choices. After that comes another new dialogue (also finished) bringing together Sylvia, Kayane, Selene, and the new character I mentioned earlier.

Following that, we’ll arrive at the final scene of day seven. This one will spotlight Manon and lead into a new h-scene if you showed interest in her during the bath scene (I’m currently wrapping up the animations for this one). There will be two variations here as well, depending on whether you were a good boy or a bad boy last time 😇.

If Manon doesn’t catch your interest, you’ll have the option to ask Sylvia, Kayane, or both to spend the night with you. At that point, you’ll get two choices: just go to sleep (and move the night along quickly), or enjoy an h-scene with her/them where you can pick the position. These scenes won’t use custom animations, though. They’ll rely on the standard ones from Honey Select 2.

For those who played AlwaysFan, this might feel a bit similar to the choices you had to move on to the next day: either sleep with Emilie or replay one of the nighttime scenes. The idea here is comparable, but with some differences: these won’t be replays but new (simpler) animations, you’ll be able to choose your partner(s)—with more options unlocking over time—and it’ll also have a bit of gameplay impact thanks to Inanna’s gift 😉.

Trois semaines se sont écoulées depuis le dernier progress update, et pas mal de choses ont avancé depuis !

La scène dont je parlais la dernière fois, centrée sur Sylvia, est désormais terminée. Il s’agit d’un dialogue qui mènera à un choix important concernant votre relation avec elle, et qui débouche sur une petite séquence musicale très mignonne. Je suis vraiment content du résultat : c’est encore mieux que ce que j’avais imaginé quand j’ai conçu cette scène, il y a plus d’un an. Même si elle ne contient pas de contenu lewd, elle sera revisionnable dans la galerie et marquée comme SFW (Safe for Work).

Peu importe ce que vous décidez avant cette séquence, la suite mènera à une nouvelle h-scene avec Sylvia, avec deux petites variantes possibles. Vient ensuite un nouveau dialogue (également terminé) réunissant Sylvia, Kayane, Selene ainsi que le nouveau personnage que j’avais mentionné précédemment.

Après cela viendra la dernière scène de cette septième journée. Elle mettra à l’honneur Manon et mènera à une nouvelle h-scene si vous avez montré de l’intérêt pour elle lors de la scène des bains (je termine actuellement les animations de cette scène). Deux variantes également ici, selon que vous avez été un bon ou un mauvais garçon la dernière fois 😇.

Si Manon ne vous intéresse pas, vous aurez la possibilité de demander à Sylvia, Kayane ou les deux de passer la nuit avec vous. Deux options alors : simplement dormir (et donc passer la nuit rapidement), ou bien profiter d’une h-scene avec elle(s), où vous pourrez choisir la position. Ces scènes n'utiliseront en revanche pas d'animations custom, mais bien celles de base présentes dans Honey Select 2.

Pour ceux qui ont joué à AlwaysFan, cela rappellera un peu les choix permettant de passer au jour suivant : soit dormir avec Emilie, soit revoir une des scènes nocturnes. Ici, ce sera similaire, mais avec quelques différences : il ne s’agira pas de replays mais de nouvelles animations (plus basiques, certes), vous pourrez choisir votre ou vos partenaires (les options augmenteront au fil du temps), et tout cela aura aussi un intérêt en termes de gameplay grâce au don d’Inanna 😉.
