Dude your videos are the best. The way you deliver them and your fluid ability to speak is awesome. And you are doing them about positive people and events , not like these dickhead tik toc and shit. Thanks

You should do a post about the Russians giving Pepsi NAVY BOATS AND SUBMARINES 😂

Appreciate your honest approach to your research and specificity to the historical narratives… like with this one with Roy. As for other videos… my dad was a WWII Navy Seabee. He and his buddy Pete made it through the Pacific Theater. Their favorite stories (and lies) came mostly from the efforts at building Quonset huts and repairing Henderson Field, although they covered most of those pissant islands too. Thanks so much for your work on these! You’re the best creator on the internet, buddy!

On the topic of Macv sog. I highly recommend checking out James Fleming. https://www.cmohs.org/recipients/james-p-fleming This badass put his helicopter between the vit cong and the squad he was recusing and sat there for several minutes while the squad evacuated. His story is in the sog book

You vids are great young man. I watch them every night have to be a Patreon member. I know it’s only 10 bucks but I am a disabled retired USAF and on a fixed income. If I get more you will too. As far as I am concerned you are my #1 favorite creator on the internet.

Roy is a national Treasure. Nay, a National Hero.

I would give anything to get this guy to Penn state.

Nick, one of your fans from reddit (u/randomreddituser1o1 ) suggested you cover this. From the little bit I could learn, it does seem worthy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nieves_Fernandez

I'd love to see a day in the life, not like but similar to Cody and his fever dream vlogs. Or if your gym is ok with it some videos there would be super cool too!

Darkour

Hear me out, post a long form without removing things to shorten the video. I’m confident that I can speak for everyone here when I say you could post an 8 hour video. We would all make time in our day to watch it.

I just learned last week about the Norwegian Missile Crisis. Basically, a missile got launched towards the ocean near Russia by the Norwegians as a test. Russians thought it was from us and came ONE SIGNATURE away from launching nukes back at us just before they realized it was going into the ocean. The best part is nobody in the states even knew about it for over a year. Wikipedia has an article on it

Don’t know just how far you’ve gotten on doing history teaching but would really love to see more history talk on here of the subjects you can find to teach us doesn’t have to be completely about the military but would like to hear your history lesson of America beginning to now and tie in military kinda like your doing but with stories of things going on around those historical times when we were just figuring it out seen some history that shows we almost had to have a battle with ourselves long before the civil war just to get away from England and that it was a minority that got us going down the freedom path

Yeah... my Dad was in Laos & Cambodia in the very, very early 60s with a LRRP unit. There's a lot of things that have been swept under the rug. I'd believe Roy's own speeches WAY before what has been approved ro be in actual writing and available to the general public. 😉

Content idea do a video on blind man's bluff Submarines during the cold war

astro guy

I had a thought the other day, as you start to run out of people or specific events to focus on, have you thought about doing a series on different conflicts, like the entire thing but broken into parts. Like you could have a deep dive into WW1 and another for WW2. Obviously damn near limitless content potential but kind of going into this is what happened, this is why it happened, this is the outcomes, stuff like that. I remember learning key points in school like the powder keg that started WW1 but have almost entirely forgotten it by now and I think it would be really good to get an in depth series going on different things like that. I know a lot of the existing content is more exciting and sexy but I think you have enough of a following now and have people hooked that you could teach any topic in history and have us begging for more.

I'm guessing a ton of bacon.

Ideas for patreon content... Loved this so extra bits left out of the videos and the reasons why. Bits of your interactions with other content creators, I believe you mentioned the new Zealand family, and the history of everything podcast. Reviews of; podcast, books, movies, video etc. glimpses of upcoming videos or ideas you decide to scrap.

The Albacore was built in 1953 it motto Praenuntius Futuri ("Forerunner of the Future") which is dope

RockNRuen

What’s in that gun safe?

FlashFlood#44

USS Albacore (AGSS-569) is a unique research submarine that pioneered the American version of the teardrop hull form (sometimes referred to as an "Albacore hull") of modern submarines I pulled this from its wiki page, the story behind is wicked cool. You can visit it in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I've been there many times over the years and it's still cool

RockNRuen

Good stuff, Keep up the good work.

Ferrous

Love the short little blurbs about the researching process. Honestly think it would be super cool to have little videos like this for other videos that you do.

Not A Clever Man

How about the Magnificent Bastards in Vietnam on LZ Russel. In Memory of Sgt Bobby Daniels

I honestly didn’t read the books and I remember his speech so in my head that was the timeline. But really I Roy is the type to tell the real timeline in a speech.
