Months went by for Monchi without any real progress on neural links, and once he developed the very first functional wireless human control device (C-72), he went on to develope a series of "non receptor" types, which required no receptor to be attached to the test subject. Although progress was more or less acceptable, this type of devices proved to be unreliable in long sessions of control, and many commands tended to be lost the farther away the subject went from the controller, making it only viable at a maximum distance of 20 m. or 65 ft. for a period of 30 to 65 minutes.
