Great! :))
Mhmmmm exporting... that's a bit of a big topic hahaha
Basically, when exporting you're always doing a trade-off between quality and storage. If you reeeally want to retain the most quality I recommend using the Apple Prores 422 Preset in Premiere and then hitting the "match source" button in the video tab, in case the video is vertical and you need the resolution changed. The Prores 422 codec is pretty much lossless quality, however the file size is massive, which is why generally this is not the "final" export. It's common to export a compressed version that still looks great.
For this I'd recommend the "High Quality 1080p" or the "High Quality 4K UHD" Preset in Premiere, depending on your resolution. Those will look identical to the Apple Prores 422 export, but the files will be much lighter.
The loss of quality here is not directly visible when viewing, it's more relevant for further editing. So if you plan to use the video then to re-edit and re-export it, I'd recommend using Prores 422 and only the final video that is for viewing should be exported in a more compressed and light format, which the mentioned Presets will do.
I hope that was roughly understandable? :,)

Thanks for the video it was really helpful! A quick question, what are your export settings for iPhone videos like this? I don't have any plans to upload to social media, they are just for personal use, but I want to retain the most quality and ensure compatibility across iPhone and MacBook. Thank you!

Yes, Dehancer. There are many versions, I just use the full package basically, Dehancer Pro. If you only want to use it for a certain project within a limited time frame the monthly subscription makes sense, however they also offer a lifetime buy option so that you're not stuck with monthly payments. :)

I looked up Dehancer and it seems to be a monthly subscription? Is that the same plugin you are referencing?

I like to shoot at 4K 25fps (24 is fine too, makes no difference to me). And I set the recording codec to Prores Apple Log to get the maximum quality.
If you're shooting in the Blackmagic App you can also consider locking in your white balance at 5400K or 5600K - in the default app this is an issue I regularly run into, the iPhone will completely mess up the white balance sometimes.
And you can also choose the microphone in the Blackmagic App which is useful too. I believe the "Bottom Microphone" is the best one, not entirely sure though to be honest.

Thank you for this. Super informative! What about the phone settings itself? I didn’t see you mention the camera settings in the YouTube video. 4K at 24fps? Or how do you have that set up? Thanks in advance!
