Hi Trevor! Thanks for pointing this out - it's not just for you, the files were not there on my end either for some reason. I've added them now! :)

Hi Teo I'm not sure if it's just me but I'm having trouble with the dropbox folder being empty on this one!

Hi! I don't know how the sharpness of scans change when using a scanner or using a mirrorless camera - I didn't think that would make a difference?
In any case, my film photos from the Pentax 17 were scanned with a Sony A7III and a vintage Mamiya Sekor 60mm Macro lens.
In Lightroom, when converting the negative, I also add some extra sharpening, so this is to be considered. However I just added the same sharpening that I always add to my film photos, so it's not like I treated the Pentax 17 photos differently.
Personally, just from my experience, I'd say the lens is pretty sharp. It's not the best ever, but it actually positively surprised me, because I was not expecting that level of sharpness from a lens that looks like it could as well be the lens of a disposable camera haha.
I hope this clarifies a couple things for you! :)

Hello Teo, I’m really curious whether the sample shots in your Pentax 17 video were obtained through film scanning or rephotography, because I’m considering buying the Pentax 17 and want to know if its lens is genuinely as sharp as it appears in the video.Thank you.

I really like how subtle the preset looks. Will definitely try it on some photos :) thanks for the update!
