It has been well established (like... multiple mentions of it) over the previous book that "Lala" is a nickname for Laura because that is what Cap calls her. This is not a typo. And this is why I do not let anyone but myself edit my work.

Isn’t that going to have the same consequences for her career/fans as claiming Jake is gay? How does she feel about that?
