Extra Bits - 'Dotti Doodle'
Added 2024-10-15 16:00:16 +0000 UTCI nearly didn't post this, as it made absolutely no impact at all five years ago! Back in 2019, I was experimenting with a proto-Totty character called Dotti Doodle. She was a live-action Betty Boop, with a cartoon head and gloves.
I was trying to capture an authentic 1930s vibe, but I think the style just confused people. Perhaps the grainy black and white filter I added was too off-putting or it may have been the creepy oversized head that did it. Either way, it didn't take off.
As we're having a spooky-old-time here on Patreon, I thought I'd share this short test with you to see what you think.
