Just a quick update to thank you for all your kind comments and messages - your support has been overwhelming and I've shed several fat tears reading all your thoughtful words. I feel so lucky to have connected with such lovely people. You really are the best :)
I've also received a number of practical suggestions that have given me a lot of food for thought, so I'll make a follow up post soon and address everything in full.
But for now, on with the show! Normal service will resume later today with a hair-raising comic that I hope will also raise a smile :)

It's with a heavy heart that I write this post. At the end of October, I'll be packing away my gloves, removing my makeup and waving goodbye to Totty.
The last few months have been a challenge. I've seen a steady decline in my membership over the last year. I've been losing roughly five Patrons a day and it's finally reached an unsustainable level - I just don't have enough income from Patreon to dedicate myself full time to Totty.
At the same time, my social media accounts are completely broken. After a strong start in early 2023 with lots of steady growth, I seemed to hit a wall about a year ago and my following stopped overnight. Since then, my posts have been regularly flagged and removed from TikTok, X and Instagram - my following immediately went into freefall and despite my best efforts, I've seen negative growth this year.
I believe there are several reasons for this decline. Many people initially signed up to Patreon expecting more spicy photos and were obviously disappointed by my relatively SFW content. My posts and pin-ups are regularly leaked on Reddit and Telegram, so there's no incentive for people to support me when they can view everything online for free. My comics are not politically correct and in a world where online censorship is increasing daily, there's just no place for vintage style and humour. Perhaps the novelty has simply worn off. Whatever the reason, A Bit Of Totty clearly isn't working any more.
So what does this mean for you lovely Patrons? Well, I'm not going to leave you hanging! If you've recently signed up or renewed your subscription, don't worry - I have a whole month of comics and pin-ups scheduled for October and I think it's some of my best work yet. At the end of the month, I'll be removing the page and riding off into the sunset.
There's so much I still want to do and I'm sorry I can't continue a little longer - I really have tried my best. Creating A Bit Of Totty has been a lot of hard work, but a complete labour of love and without your regular support, I couldn't have made it this far. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and the heart of my bottom❤️

As a fellow artist, I genuinely find your work exceptionally funny and creative among a sea of samey webcomics. I really think you would do well with a coffee table book, or an annual pin-up calendar, and I hope you consider it. Also your content is far from being inflammatory enough to have that stopped your growth. if I had to be honest more than anything else I think most people who came about, including myself at the beginning, were hoping you'd eventually turn up the spice a bit. it really tends to be how these things go. You are a very attractive woman and your product was incredibly unique. There is a lot of potential here. Once it became apparent that wasn't happening they bailed. I am sorry to see you go. I grew to enjoy your content for what it was. Also i just realized we never got to hear your voice either :( I think you've got a few options here either: 1) Pack up shop and be done with it 2) Keep the patreon open and do this on the side like some other commenter mentioned 3) Reconsider the spice. Tbh i think if you went down that path you'd make a killing, but i don't know anything about your personal situation or morals.

You don't have to do photos or content daily even though you think you need too. I would stay subbed EDIT - also just too let you know for some reason I was unsubbed for some reason, not sure why. It's awful that your content keeps getting removed, and the leaks are ruining your income. Just know that bad things don't last forever, and there's always a way to counter them.
