I bought a set of new LED lights recently and this was the first comic I shot using them. I usually try to light myself with minimal shadows - as flat and cartoony as possible, so that I fit better into the cartoon world. At first, I thought the new setup worked well, but as I started adding the photos to the backgrounds I noticed my skin had an odd yellowish tint which made me look like a sickly Minion. I've tried to colour correct as much as I can but I'm not too happy with the end result.
So, I've gone back to the old lights and the original setup. Today's lesson: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Anybody want to buy a set of LED lights :)
