I am also a YouTube content creator and a visual artist focusing more on these hobbies since I left the army where I spent three decades as a computer scientist/engineer and worked in the Middle East on computer counterintelligence. I also built myself the most expensive gaming computer that money could buy it was total overkill, but I have plenty of money to spend and had plenty of time to build it I decided to build a fully snow White coloured PC for the first time With a white HYTE Y70 Touch gaming case with a built-in to the corner of the case 14 inch 4K touchscreen that you can swipe like an iPhone screen and you can put all of your apps like Google Chrome and Spotify and everything on one screen and then have the next screen full of widgets with the weather and what not and then on the third screen I have photos of my kids and girlfriend and then on the next screen I have a looping video playing from my favourite anime Neon Genesis evangelion that anime is the main theme of my whole computer. The case alone was $1600. ASUS ROG MAXIMUS FORMULA WATER COOLED MOTHERBOARD INTEL 14900K CPU 192GB 6000MHZ DDR 5 RAM which was stupidly expensive due to the fact that to get 192 GB of RAM which is how much the motherboard takes maximum you need to buy 4x48gb ram sticks and the companies know that you canβt use 64 gig sticks to achieve this so they actually charge significantly more for the 48 GB sticks then they do the 64 sticks and of course I got Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB RAM ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 4090 WHITE EDITION 24GB GPU which was about $3500 when I bought it. Of course I donβt think anyone has stock now anywhere. A LIAN LI GALAHAD II LCD AIO COOLER that has an awesome little LCD screen built onto the CPU cooler where you can upload any YouTube video so of course I have a video playing from evangelion from one of the battle scenes. I also bought 13 x 120mm LIAN LI LCD CASE FANS that also have LCD screens in the middle hub of each fan that allow you to upload YouTube videos individually to each fan so I have a different video from evangelion on each fan playing simultaneously. Now this is where it starts to get expensive The main reason I got the motherboard that I did was because it takes 5 X m.2 SSD Drives and even though my girlfriend thinks Iβm a moron and sheβs possibly right π₯Ή I bought 5 ExaDrive EDDCT100 100 terabyte drives which cost about US$40,000 each or just over $60,000 Australian. For a total of $300,000AUD for all five drives. But given the fact that already almost filled one of them with art and 3-D rendered videos in the last six months. Iβm going to say that I made a good call. My last computer was overkill as well and last me 10 years and it was still considered a relevant gaming machine when I handed it down to my younger son this year I have completely modified and customised the case with evangelion artwork and decals that I had made from my own drawings and I had custom tape made for the edging of the case in three different colours with evangelion writing and logos and symbols etc on them. It looks really great and Iβm still not finished modifying it yet. Plus as a finishing touch I bought a scale model statue that sits perfectly on top of the case of the three main female characters from the anime which cost me another $500 and then I bought 2 different 1/2 scale polystone statues of two of the main female characters from the show which cost me just over $12,000 each of Mari Illustrious Makinami and Asuka Longley which are extremely detailed and stand at around 4 foot tall and have powered LED lighting in the bases. Iβm still putting the finishing touches on it but Iβve already upgraded my microphone and headset to some high-quality gear but I do need a much better camera set up for streaming as my old WebCam died. I am thinking about getting a Osbot Tiny 2 Ai powered 4K camera with motion tracking it looks pretty good from what I can tell and then getting myself a decent Canon digital SLR Congratulations on your new PC as well. I always love upgrading my rig and seeing how the higher end games play at Max settings.
