Time I talked about a certain issue
Added 2020-07-07 18:43:52 +0000 UTCHello friends. I know a lot of you have been messaging these past weeks about a reference I made to failed suicide attempts when I was younger. I have wanted to address this, but the time didn't seem quite right until now. This is tomorrow's youtube video - and I would like to clearly state a trigger warning as I talk about suicide. I totally understand if you're unable to watch.
Please know that I am in much happier and healthier place, as I'm sure you have seen. Life is good, and I'm well past this dark time of my life 💓

I've just joined and going through the posts and this one struck a cord as I've gone through the same thing myself. Suffering from Insomnia & Depression since 96' and a number of other Health issues; a few years back I was in a dark place and now I carry the scars with me as a reminder and not just the ones you can see. Now I take medicine daily to keep a balance but it was difficult to get any help, it took me years to be taken seriously.

My wife and I had many sleepless nights and many trips to the hospital with her. She’s better now she’s changed like you. Im sure the psychiatrist and therapists helped her. There was a lot of stigma about seeing those people. As if you were weak but hearing how you’ve handled it feel okay. I’m glad for you. All the best in the future

Trigger warning and all that fun stuff. But I felt like I should say something. It's hard being afraid, and depressed and feeling hopeless about the future. 2020-07-08 12:06:48 +0000 UTCActually this is you that the world hasn't treated the way you really deserve... I've experience a part of what you're talking about : - Failed suicide attempt... Once, I was sitting on the edge of my window at night, and I jumped..., but if you can read what I'm saying now is because that night I was crying so much I didn't see the tree in the dark under my window that saved my life. ^^' (the result was -> a broken leg and a stupid scratched face), - Sleeping pills + alcohol, - Insomnia... The causes of all of this are a bit different than yours but still, depression is depression. A damn heavy burdon. What I've learnt from that in the years now is that life can be sad, but beautifull too. And thanks to YOU, I met my wife. :) I was sitting in my car, waitting in the traffic, then I put one of your songs (I have one of your CDs in my car's CDs loader), then I went on Tinder... then I met her. :) And I'm married now. I mean if I didn't take those few seconds to turned your music on, my phone maybe wouldn't have found her in the Tinder's users list. (Sorry I couldn’t invite you to our wedding because she’s reaaaaally jealous ^^) So I hope you'll be fine and that the world will NOW TREAT YOU GOOD BECAUSE YOU DESERVE IT !

Have to say I hit one at school, bullied. I dont drink but I've seen first hand just how bad it can make things for some people. Your music is inspiring and great to listen to. I'm the same with feelings but only seems for sorrow, love etc. Sometimes seems so strong you have to wall it off. Bit of girly. Cant even watch romcom without walling off hehe. You're really smart and wiser than your years. Would love to give ya big hug. Youre so not annoying though. Does seem so often that when we judge ourselves badly and see flaws or failures they are things that others around us dont measure. We can measure ourselves by impossible standards we wouldnt hold others to. Did laugh at the "I'm the person I'm stuck with for the rest of my life". Anyone who sees you for who you are would be happy about that. Genuinely, thank you for the vid x
