TV and radio promotion #mediababy!

Hey friends - hope you are all having the happiest of weeks!

It has taken me a bit of time to think this through so bear with this long post!! If you joined me for the webhang the other week you might have heard me sound you guys out about this. The radio airplay thing is so much harder to break than people think. So many songs are put under the noses of radio bosses, sometimes it's pure luck if you even get a spot play. That’s why people use radio pluggers who go out to their contacts in the biz and work their socks off - the way a PR team would for publications and media. And that of course is big money. So people suggested I do a crowdfund again, and they have a point I suppose!

So, this is where I’m at. The feedback so far for the album has been really positive and I want to leave no stone unturned. I'd hate to get to the end of this campaign and think...what if?? I think I’d like to offer my Patreon community the opportunity to feature in the album booklet for both the CD and the vinyl. All names will be in perpetuity - so your name will remain on any more runs of the album that may be manufactured in the future.

The sort of thing I had in mind was this:

I have made sure that I've left some prime place on both the CD and album artwork to incorporate some special thank yous. If you'd like your name immortalised on 'Confessional' by way of getting this plugging thing off the ground, then maybe you'd be interested in this 🙊 The artwork is being designed now and I have to sign it off on Monday, so I can only keep this going for a few days!!

100% of this will go directly towards plugging and promo for the next two singles and album launch - something I’m unable to use Patreon proceeds for. Nothing is guaranteed but at least I will have a shot at getting this music baby the best start possible! I have already found someone who I think will be perfect for national radio so I am hoping I can get him to do the whole campaign. It will also help me engage a regional radio plugger and someone for TV as well. Eeeeep!! Team Janet can hopefully grow!
