New Youtube video - podcast time!

Here's my new youtube video going out tomorrow - it's a lovely natter with Nathan Thomas, who I co-wrote the Confessional single with, plus that's his voice you hear at the start of the song with the dramatic ahhs!! It wasn't meant to be quite as long but as it turned out we had a great convo about the writing, music and recording process so hopefully everyone finds it interesting! Let me know what you think? 🙊

I'm not clear on something. What I think is happening is that more songs are being produced along with a book. Will the final CD and book be packaged together then? I'm looking forward to reading each song intro. This is such a unique and interesting concept. Can't wait. Any idea when it will all be ready to ship?

Not to mention the fact that you are baring your soul without reservation with the new album. No pretense just truth and damn the consequences. Very brave of you. I hope it assuaged some of your demons and allows you to be at peace with yourself.

I watched/listened to it while getting ready for my day, and I have to say I am so happy that you didn't add more to Confessional when pressured to. Like you said, you made your point already, so why throw more in there that could end up taking away from the intended message? Great job, Janet!

I listen to everything on a track lyrics and melody and it needs to fit together, you can't have an emotional song and then hammer away with techno. I do think your lyrics fits your melodies which makes your songs even better. I hope you're having a wonderful evening.

I loved hereing the process and would love to hear the transitions from what confessional is now to how it started. But its cool you talked about the long process.
