Thoughts on Rewards and what I'm currently doing

I'm currently thinking over what Rewards would be feasable for me to maintain on the regular and what I can't maintain unless I have a larger financial backing. It's not a plea for more cash, but more that if I did do bigger rewards without earning more from Patreon it'd cut into the time I NEED to produce Commissions in order for me to pay me bills, so it'd harm me financially. I'm sure most people would realise this without me saying, I just wanna say anyways for completion's and clarity's sake.

Discord things

I am setting up a Public Discord Server with an Exclusive Category for Patrons and a few Channels only you folk will be able to post in (though others can see). As much as Patreon has tools for Rewarding you guys and managing posts (tools I wont ignore), at the moment I am much more comfortable and used to Discord so I am leaning towards keeping a lot of my Patreon business through the Discord Channel. If I'm told off and people prefer everything stay on site, I'll adjust and do as yall please. But for now it's just too convenient not to use. 

Folks who don't wanna touch that Discord stuff will still gain access to the non-discord-specifc upcoming Rewards (High res art, Vote/poll participation etc). I mean it's not like I won't post stuff here. I'll just post in both places, so Patrons with the preference for one over the other will have the same ease of access. Unless one of the platforms shits itself. We'll figure it out if that happens.

So I have a couple of thoughts for Rewards

• The Basics: Early Access on content, High Res. versions of finished art, WIP & sketch previews
• Voting priviliges - I've yet to decide on how often (this is largely dependent on how much com work I got that month and how much I earn through Patreon), but I'll be polling from my Patreon supporters on...
  # Which sketches/WIPs I should finish - I'll pick 3-5 pieces I've sketched and yall get to pick which one I'll finish that month.
  # Picking themes for sequential pieces or holliday art - Same as above, but larger pieces with more detail.
  # Once it starts becoming a regular thing - Comic theme/story vote.
• Suggestion box [Discord channel] - A suggestion box for things you'd want me to do. Only Patrons will be able to post in the Channel, but everyone will be able to see it and react with the discord emoticons - something that'll help me gauge interest.
• Patreon stream of choice - I'm not sure how often I'll be doing these, but it'll be at least once a month. Essentially the Patreons will get to vote on what theme I should have for the Stream or Request what I should be drawing for that stream. Anyone will be able to see it, but you guys will decide what I do during it.
• Monthly sketches, High tier reward - What it sais. A monthly sketch for the high tier (prolly $10) of whatever they want. It won't include colouring automatically, but if I feel the urge I'll splash on some there for the heck of it. It will however include a single character (up to Full body shot) and a rough background if necessary. If they're interracting with another character (eg eating micros) I'll still draw it, but just draw the micros real simple. Problem solved. 

Things I don't think I'll be able to do just yet

• Comic cameos (submission access), Mid Tier Reward - This won't be relevant for a while, but once I start producing me short comic things, folks can submit OCs of theirs that will show up as extras in the background (at most saying a line or two). They'll either be picked randomly or after what'd be appropriate (eg Mandy lands on a planet full of reptiles, a random leopard-wolf won't logically show up). I'll try and make it so that almost every submission gets used at least once - so if your character shows up in one comic, it probably wont until a bunch of others have gotten their turn. I want it to be as fair as possible. 
• CYOA Thread - It'd essentialy be a weekly or bi-weekly series of illustrations or comics (sketch artstyle) based on an RP-lite sort of thread exclusive to Patrons. For those new to the concept, you'll all be essentially playing the protagonist of some sort of story in some sort of scenario (most likely something that would be decided by you guys again). I'll draw up what seems to be the most common answer from you guys (eg 5 out of 8 people sais to grab the thing, so next page/illustration that's what they do). I then draw what would follow from your decisions and we see where the adventure takes us 

That's all I can think of that's realistic for me to do and share.
