✍️ Scripts → Comics?

I’ve been thinking about broadening the kinds of content I share here. One idea I want to put forward seriously is scripts. By scripts, I mean the kind of material comic artists use to bring stories to life: panel breakdowns, dialogue, and scene notes. From there, I’d commission femuscle artists to adapt those scripts into comic pages. You’ve already seen how this can work with Grandma’s Secret and Big Dog.

Here’s what I have in mind going forward:

Scripts would be posted here first, as Patreon-exclusive content, even before any comic exists. Each script would run a full issue length (though issue sizes will vary). Comics would be handled by femuscle artists I’ve worked with before, with each project keeping a consistent style by sticking to one artist.

A few things to keep in mind:

Stories will stay the core of this Patreon. Scripts would be an occasional addition, whenever an idea feels right for the format. Patron support makes this possible — commissions are funded directly through pledges, so this is another way of giving back to you.

You’ll have a say in what moves forward. Patrons will vote (likely by poll) on which scripts get turned into comics. There’s no fixed timeline. Scripts would come first, and comics would follow when possible. Scripts won’t just be new ideas — some could expand on or revisit characters you’ve already seen in my stories. Juiced, perhaps?
