Migrating to a Monthly Subscription Model on Friday! (UPDATED!)

Update, August 11th: I've opted to move the migration date up to this coming Friday. I figured this might be beneficial for you in regards to this month's outlook for content. Big Dog 4, Price 13 and Neon 4 are still slated to launch this month. You now get to appreciate those releases without creeping/stacking bills.

Quick heads-up: starting August 15th, I’m moving from “per creation” billing to a monthly subscription model here on Patreon. Your tier stays the same, your benefits stay the same — the only difference is you’ll now pay the same amount every month, no matter how many posts I make. This actually helps me keep things a bit more organised as well, making sure patrons in their respective tier get exactly what they expect.

Here’s where the tiers will be starting in September:
• Benefactor – $3/month
• Reader of Tales – $10/month
• Early Bird – $15/month
• Cabinet Member – $20/month

Because this is a new system, there might be a few teething problems, and prices could be tweaked later if needed — but I’ll keep you updated every step of the way. You’re always free to change tiers, adjust your pledge, or even pause if life gets in the way. If you’ve been thinking of moving up a tier, now’s the perfect time to check what each one offers — especially with an upgrade coming soon!

Coming in January — Tier Upgrades, New Names, and a Premium Option!

When we’re all settled into the monthly billing, I’ll be expanding the Cabinet Member tier at no extra cost. You’ll still pay $20/month, but you’ll now get:

• Regular private polls and early draft feedback opportunities.

• Your name credited in published works created during your time in the tier.

• All lower-tier benefits included.

At the same time, I’ll be renaming the tiers to better match the themes of my work — something that feels more fun for our community. The new names will roll out in the new year, so January will feel like a complete refresh.

And finally, I’ll be opening a brand-new premium tier:

$75 – The Patron’s Pen (Launching January)

The Patron’s Pen is a monthly buy-in that guarantees you a fully custom-written story based entirely on your concept, with no word count limit — the length and depth will be shaped by the idea you bring me. Your project will receive priority scheduling, ensuring it always gets the attention it deserves, and you’ll also enjoy all the benefits from every lower tier. Because these commissions require significant time and creative energy, slots will be limited so I can give each one the same care and quality as my published work, whlist also ensuring my own personal projects don't get the backseat too often. Each piece will be delivered to you first, before being shared publicly on Patreon and eventually archived to DeviantArt.

Launch offer: $75/month for the first few months— and you’ll lock in that rate for as long as you stay. Once the initial opening period has closed, the tier will rise to $100/month for new sign-ups. The increase reflects the time and creative energy each commission requires, and ensures I can continue to deliver the highest possible quality without overloading my schedule.
