I've revamped my discord to add new security measures, so tomorrow afternoon I will issue out the new discord link via patreon messages!!! The link will only be sent to members who were billed on January 1st, so if you joined after that, you will not have access.
I'm making this post here in case some of you have questions once the link goes live tomorrow.
Originally, I was going to limit it to 50 invites, but I managed to figure out a better system. The code will have unlimited invites for 24 hours, which should give all patrons enough time to join. However, you will not have immediate access to the server.
Here's how it will work.
- Once the invite link is live, read over the rules & submit the verification form.
- The verification form will be in the #verification channel.
- It may take 2-8 business days before we approve your form, or maybe longer depending on the amount of new members we receive.
- Please keep in mind, the weekend is for relaxing and spending time with family, so the mod team will not be verifying that many forms over the weekend.
- Once you are verified, introduce yourself in the #introductions channel so other members can get to know you! Thereafter, you can begin chatting in #general.
- Once you unlock level 1 (about 5 messages), you will have access to the most of the server!
- Once you unlock level 10, you will have access to the pin-trading channels.
Please understand that I've implemented a lot of layers out of security! This past year, many pin discords had a scammer lurk in their servers and ultimately scammed people out of trades and money. Because of this, we are now making sure all individuals who have access to trade with others are verified and trusted individuals. Additionally, with the recent DMCA scare, I'm tightening my security so that I know who is accessing my discord by removing that layer of anonymity.
