It's been almost 30 years since the first outbreak of the Change, and over 20 since the pandemic was controlled by the Metastabilizer vaccine. But now, unknowingly nurtured by the anti-vaccination movement, a new strain of the Change has appeared in hotspots all over America, allowing frenzied, mutated humans to roam free and kill once again. President Vancamp has sworn to exterminate the Changed, but rumors on social media suggest that there is another way.
Iconography of an open hand holding a blossoming flower proliferates along with whispers about the existence of a 'Metamorph Movement', a society run by a special kind of Changed. Operating from hidden strongholds all over the nation, the Movement pledges to restore the free will and humanity to the Feral Changed, but can they survive under the watchful eye of an oppressive regime?
Metamorph is an experimental roleplaying game designed to be played through a combination of google docs and Discord chat! Any or all of my wonderful pledges are welcome to come help me playtest, if play-by-post roleplaying sounds fun to you. Linking your Discord account to Patreon will automagically add you to my server, which is where I'll be organizing and running the game!
There will be more prototype documents soon, but the Timeline and Character Generation documents are in a stable form, so feel free to read them at your leisure.
