Today is the 300th day of the war. I never thought that I would live during the war. The war seemed very far from the history books and movies. It is difficult to smooth out that shock on the first day of hostilities ... I do not wish this on anyone.

Of course, at the moment the army of Russian zombies has been thrown back and we are no longer as worried as at the beginning of the war, but an oppressive burden is constantly placed on our souls. Pain of loss. The impermanence of the present. Foggy future. What will happen next no one knows. An apocalyptic scenario is not ruled out.

In the evening, when the whole family is assembled, the guests have arrived, there is electricity and the Internet, the mood is positive and there is confidence that everything will be fine. The New Year holidays are approaching. But the oppressive mood does not leave me.

We constantly turn off the electricity about 2 times a day for 4 hours. It is always unpredictable, which greatly spoils all plans.

It is very difficult to work during the day, so I paint at night. There are days when there is no internet at all. He sometimes appears and you have to seize the moment.

Since my last message, there have been 2 more major rocket attacks. Most of the missiles were shot down. The quality of our air defense is growing. Here, of course, we must say thanks to all our allies who provided modern air defense systems. This is what saves us now.

We have very cloudy weather in our country now, everything is covered with clouds, the sun comes out 2-3 days a month. The temperature is about 0 "C. It constantly rains and snow melts. There is a swamp in the fields, this does not allow military equipment to work. Therefore, there will be no offensive on the front of hostilities now.

For the last 3 weeks, the main battles have been going on near Bakhmut. I think that films will be made about these fights later, because these are very difficult fights. The Russians went on the attack in the style of the 2nd World War. In waves, when one wave dies, the next one rises and goes into battle. At some points there were about 10 attacks a day. I watched several reports from the scene. The field is littered with bodies. Even our soldiers are in shock, they have never seen anything like it. The Russians do not spare their soldiers, some of them are Wagnerians - prisoners who were promised to be pardoned for good service in the army.

Our army was able to hold back this offensive and today, on the 300th day, the president arrived at the front line, right in Bakhmut. It's very, very bold. Of course, this is very motivating and raises morale. A historical gesture worthy of a film adaptation.

Forecasts for the future are different for everyone, I personally think that it will be like this: In Russia, another winter mobilization will take place and in the spring they will try to attack with renewed vigor. However, they will again suffer heavy losses, after which they will no longer be able to continue the war and will be forced to retreat in battle, leaving the territory of Ukraine, and we will also return the Crimea. Around next summer, the war will end.
