2023-09-21 02:54:45 +0000 UTCSo much to say..... What an episode. It went from being sexy to heartbreaking. Great tie in of the Kryptonite song. When you first published that MPL playliat a few years ago, I listened to it on repeat, and that song is embedded in my head. It fits Tora's feelings towards Vincent so perfectly. Poppy is so brave in this episode. She is being vulnerable and open, because she's scared of what will happen now that he can't find Goliath's DVD and she knows what Tora does and that the penalty is death. And that line that she tells him: "What you do is not who you are!" Wow. What emotional maturity and faith she shows. She wants to build him up and help him believe in himself. And then Tora telling her he doesn't love her, after remembering what love did to his mother. He thinks that loving him will only land Poppy in the same situation: where he will be hanged and she will cry over him. But Tora, don't you know, "it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"???
