MPL Ep 106 - High-Res Artwork + Discussion

Oh shit and we’re back in Ares Street! I’m a little surprised he took her there, but knowing how stubborn Poppy can be, and how it doesn’t take much for her to wind herself around Tora, I’m also not that shook by it. Though I’d be sweating buckets and having full blown freak outs if I was Poppy. She’s keeping her shit together and I love that Tora has ‘armed’ her with some self defence stuff. And of course he’s picking up on her - legit - nerves! There’s the tiger I adore who’s so much more emotionally aware than he realises. Oh for fuck sakes, I’m already a tattoo obsessed girl, adding more ink to him is only going to make me love him more! The placement of that one looks incredible, but also owie. And I adore that he’s trying to distract her and her legitimate excitement for him and his ‘tiny lil tattoo!’ is so freaking sweet! And what it says has made me cackle! It’s the kind of thing I’d have tattooed too, something unexpected but this is wholly Tora and I love it. And Poppy’s blushing when he tells her he got it in honour of her…normally I’d say that's a death wish to get something like that so soon. But it’s not as if he got her name and regardless of what happens between them, it’ll always be a reminder to him of the person he knew, the courage she showed and the way’s she changed his life - unintentionally of course. Why regret a tattoo when at the time it had a meaning to you in that part of your life. It’s just another chapter to your story. So yeah, long story short, it’s amazing! So close to an Ares Street kiss again! Even if I was kind of panicking they weren’t paying attention to who could’ve been watching. What can I say, the place gives me the heebie jeebies! OK, seriously, the way you draw hands Lily is superb!! The way he grabbed the punk's face and just threw him in…shit damn! He cuts a very imposing and scary presence in that all black get up and the gun. And poor Poppy being surrounded by idiots! Though they kinda look like baby thugs, not much to them. Did the ‘boss’ lose his shoes? Fuck they’re lucky Tora only put out warning shots to them! And again, huge fucking kudos to Poppy for keeping her calm even when Tora opened the van! After the still very fresh memory of the home intruder, I’m expecting some kind of come down from adrenaline to hit soon with how that possibly triggered her. Though judging from the ‘ows’ she got some good digs in there with Tora! *howls with laughter* Hey tiger you OK? I was more worried about you than me, but stay still while I zap you a few more times. They’re so funny! Patrick will never recover from whatever Tora did to him. ‘Lucky bastard’ indeed. This definitely had some moments of intensity, especially having Poppy on Ares Street and so close to trouble. But that moment between them about the tattoo was the lightning that moment needed. And the zap zap that may or may not have been intentional. If I was Poppy I definitely would have gotten some ‘accidental’ zaps in for what's been happening. Sneaky little hamster! I’ll try and come back to finish the last episodes before the next one drops. But thank you as always Lily for dishing the delicious moments between these two we all love and have missed!
