MPL Ep 104 - High-Res Artwork + Discussion

Took me way too long, but here I am to ramble thoughts or just pour my crazy mind onto the page. It won’t be as in depth as what I’ve written for the rest of season 2 so far, because I’m 7 episodes behind and I just don’t have the time at the moment. But I have to share something. Better late than never to the party, am I right?? Heh! First of all,a huge welcome back, Lily! You’ve been missed and I hope you took all the time to rest as best you could and heal as much as possible. Though that never stops when it comes to loss. The episode, hot damn, have I missed seeing Tora’s face! And I really appreciated the recap of what has been happening leading up to this as I didn’t get the chance to re read again before your return. But seeing his doofus cross eyed face as his soul left his body during the flight off the swing and his superhero landing, I laughed instantly and felt a piece start to click back into place And the cold harsh reality of remembering all that had transpired from the night that never ended and the stress massively piled on these two. I’ve missed Poppy’s snarky thoughts! Ugh and that looming unknowing creepy gross ex-boss whom shall not be named off in the world plotting some bullshit against them. *shudders* So can we blame Poppy for being ‘on edge and withdrawn…mostly towards Tora’? Hell nah! I’d have honestly cracked under all this pressure. When she said about all the clans possibly being after her if it gets out, I felt myself shrivel up a little inside. I’m starting to feel the weight of their story again already. Gotta say, I appreciated that Poppy said this ‘good enough’ between her and Tora ‘for now at least’ made me very happy. There are so many things that need to be discussed between them, so the fact she’s willing to sort them and not disregard them, was a big phew to me. And then I got totally thrown for a loop when we switched from the recap to the suddenly in a different place with new punks and a scared looking Poppy. I had to remind myself the story had stopped at a place it hadn’t intended too and we were picking up from that last conversation between them. And again I was reminded there’s always an element of mystery with your writing Lily and I have to hunt for clues to piece it together. So I’m up for the challenge, haha. “Where’s the body?” Erm, anyone else’s hearts raced seeing Tora like that? Damn!! Tiger strikes an intimidating presence even in a motorcycle helmet! Also that comment he made to Poppy about being desensitised to it all…Big bro, once this is all over, get yourself some self care. And once again I'm reminded just how BAD that man has had life. Gah. “Did I piss her off again?” He should have that on his tombstone, his shit out of luck with not pissing her off at this point, bahaha. Also, this insight into mafia life is both awesome and scary as fuck. Poppy’s fly away hair it’s a brilliant nod to how her thoughts and feelings are just as frazzled. Also, these little humorous moments - literally the smallest little things that make me giggle (him saying tush, her raising her hand, his sigh of defeat as he checks she's taking this in ok - freaking adorable!) - is a welcome balm to the intensity of the story. And did I see Louise NOT being a goner and running through some kind of hell and very much alive? No I did NOT! Holy Hera, I GASPED at that cliffhanger! And was immensely glad I wasn’t waiting for a whole week for a new episode. You’ve got me giggling, gasping and groaning with second hand embarrassment for these plonkers all over again in no time at all! Let's see if I can write another ‘short’ one for the next episodes. You rock!
