The thing that stood out the most to me (besides Tora’s hot professor look and the beautiful slap Julri got) to me is how poppy’s address is changed in the legal system. Like is it because of the notebook, or was it like that before and just has something to do with her family that some people have been theorizing??

Geez, what a way to open the episode, I was howling! Between our little friend on the floor and the very very impressive duo standing in the doorway, I didn’t know where to look or what to think! “How’s the earthquake comin’ along?” Fucking A, Tora!! Gah, I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. These one liners will slay me for days. Having them just stop for a moment and poke fun at him in Tora’s case just made me crack up! His grin was everything! Poor Jacob. Hahaha. Ok, serious talk now. Erdene’s anxiety was giving me some shudders too! Having Tora tear out of there no questions asked, the hidden questions in their talk...I was full on ready to panic! Even Quincey looked a little shocked at Jacobs question. (Side note, can we appreciate the gorgeous sunset lighting of this part? It’s stunning!) The build up of whatever was coming was making me squint at the screen, searching for clues. Pft, so Quincey wasn’t suppose to tell them there’s a possibility Poppy’s life is in danger? Dayum! Tora’s gonna have to start trusting in a few more people around Poppy if he wants her safe. I wasn’t expecting it to be laid out so plain and clear like that to the two of them. And once again I am applauding this story-telling for surprising me at every turn and making me appreciate the hard work and depth that’s going into it! *stands up and claps Jacob for a solid 10 minutes!* I Stan a friend like him!! Supporting Poppy, encouraging her to grow from her mistakes, trusting in her to make them on her own and be there regardless. The clapping just got harder the more I re read it because these two are amazing friends to Poppy! They both have their strengths and weaknesses but they balance each other well! We’ve come a long way from bitching about him for ribbing her for her weight and I’m excited to see how their friendship progresses. Illegal cliffhanger of Quincey mentioning their aware of what he and Tora are involved in! Whaaaaat? Deep breaths with me, answers will come. Soon. Eek! Poppy...did you...did you just ask Tora on a day date? And it didn’t go through!! Oh bloody hell. Bloody hell that’s a cruel tease. My heart is racing at the possible implications to her taking that step, being that forward and I’m trying really really hard to rein myself in right now and not get ahead of myself. But shit damn it’s hard, ma’am! I want to get giddy that she’s becoming more comfortable with herself. Breaking through that fog shit head Julri left her in. That flashback alone was threatening to take me down from my high. The deep roots of his toxic gas lighting so strong still. We all know she doesn’t need to feel guilty, but yet...gah! Pop’s you’re a queen. One day that arsehole won’t have such a hold over you. I mean, look at this man...look at this glorious professor Tora...*fans self* I know we’re in the midst of a heatwave in the UK right now, but eesh! One look at him dressed up like that, with GLASSES and I’m just nothing. My head has emptied of thoughts, it’s just goo now. Sorry, can’t compute. I’m staring along with them! Absolutely jaw to the floor, staring at him. Hello good sir, what do you require of me? I’d go back to school in a heartbeat if I had a professor like that. And I HATED school! Alright, pulling my mind from the gutter now. Appreciating the brilliance of this little girl calling her mum out like that. Haha! Even the babe is getting a glance to see what’s going mummy all flushed! Bloody brilliant. Ok, so I absolutely thought this was a flashback the first few times I read it. Didn’t matter that the lighting was the same as where Poppy and our 3 favourite gossips were. I was like, he’s changed clothes, got a different car and booked it to Moonbright before Poppy despite being at least 40 minutes or so behind her. BUT having read a lot of the different discussions on the Facebook groups (I love them!) I was happy to be wrong and see it with clearer eyes. If anyone is going to break speeding records to get there it’s Tora! And I am all here for it. And it just highlighted how amazing this fandom is, that not once was there a divide between the theories of what was going on in this moment. It was all discussed calmly and not once did it turn negative. That’s one thing I adore about this fandom, the non judgmental, open and welcome atmosphere of it. It’s by far my favourite ever! This was a fantastic suspenseful episode! The lighting was beautiful, some of my most favourite for sure.
