Part of what took so long was finally settling on a style for this one. Initially I was going for a more realistic look, but decided that leaning heavier into anime was probably better in terms of making a greater number of people happier (though there's still a realistic tinge to the style). That said, if this story does well enough, I would consider making an alternate illustrated edition with the realistic style.
Planning on keeping the Patreon paused in September until GatG 2 and Empowering Vivian 2 are completely finished, so no need to worry about pledges.
