2025-07-31 02:46:18 +0000 UTCWe know that's not the case because they do it just fine when Susie asks them to with the SOUL still in them, in fact, there is actually a dedicated track to the sound of playing incorrectly in the official OST, it's called 'Concert for You'. Kris is intentionally playing incorrectly so that *we* don't get to hear it, they're pissed off when Susie comments on it because it means pretending they're not good at it when they are.

I think it’s really interesting how the cat is almost completely out of the bag in regards to the dichotomy of the SOUL and Kris- in relation to Noelle now. And things like us using the in-game choice selection UI to move through walls, us explicitly letting Noelle know we can hear what she is thinking- I wonder if in a regular pacifist playthrough we’ll ever get to that point where these same concepts are exposed and explored. And if so, what would that look like?
