July Channel Update - Amping Up Again

TL;DR

Witcher 2 and Metro 2033 Redux will finish this month.
No big releases in the next two months - likely going to spend some time with the indie titles
Witcher 3 will start soon! (est. mid to late August)

Hi everyone,

Hope you're enjoying the sunshine in July (or a more wintery season if you're around Australia)! The weather's been really nice in Canada - not too hot, but not too cold. I hope it's nice and comfy where you are too.

May/June was quite hectic with all the lengthy new games, but I had a more restful pace in the past 2 weeks and I'm feeling ready to pick it up again.

I'm now at the very end bit of Witcher 2! I'm also ~40% through reading the last book (which everyone tells me I should finish before starting 3). If all goes well, I'm hoping to start Witcher 3 in mid to late August.

Metro 2033 is also coming to a finish. The plan is definitely to continue on with Last Light, but since Exodus isn't until next year, I haven't decided if it will be immediately yet. I also have Wolfenstein: The New Order in the queue from the winners of the previous poll, so whatever comes after 2033 will likely be one of these two. (New polls will probably start up again once these are cleared up!)

Overall, July is pretty quiet for big releases but there's a few smaller titles I'm paying attention to:

I haven't seen very much attention around these titles but all of them look promising from the promotional footage.

Looking ahead into August, there's also:

8th: Unavowed
21th: Shenmue I & II (PC Port)

Unavowed is the new point-and-click adventure game from Wadjet Eye Games (whose games I haven't really played on the channel before but I'm a fan of), and as for Shenmue, some of you may know that I have been really itching to play a game set in Hong Kong for a loooong time now. I'm really quite looking forward to both these games in August.
