The other day, I went on a trip to the northern part of Japan, the Tohoku region.

If you are familiar with Japanese place names, you may know this, but I took a stroll through a city in the Tohoku region called Sendai, which is especially popular with tourists.

Sendai is an area that was once ruled by the famous military commander Date Masamune during Japan's Sengoku period.

He is a very popular military commander among Japanese historical figures, so many people visit this city to see his castle ruins and bronze statue.

Unfortunately it was raining that day, but the view of Sendai from the hill looked very advanced.

On the other hand, a little further away, nature is very rich.

I thought it was a wonderful city

Sendai has a variety of specialty foods, but the most famous is "beef tongue."

This city's beef tongue dish is so famous that almost everyone who visits this city has eaten it at least once.

There are countless restaurants in town that serve beef tongue dishes.

It was very delicious 😋

Also, chestnuts are very delicious at this time of year.

I ate chestnut sweets many times during my trip.

The one that was especially delicious was this chestnut and milk ice cream.

This time we also visited historical sites and hot springs.

Unfortunately, it started raining halfway through the trip, so I wasn't able to take many photos, but I had a great time.

This is a doll that reproduces an old Japanese military commander.

It was scary because it looked like the real thing 😂

Originally, this was the season of autumn leaves and I had planned to take lots of photos of the wonderful scenery of autumn leaves.

However, due to the prolonged hot weather this summer, the beginning of autumn leaves has been delayed compared to previous years.

Actually, I was planning to show everyone the wonderful autumn scenery of Japan.

It's a shame that it didn't happen

However, I am planning to go to a place rich in nature soon, so I will take some photos and share them.
