Ramsey says he hates poetry but basically speaks in Bukowski

It is truly a masterpiece of irony that he doesn't for one second consider his own loquaciousness and its poetic anachrony in the modern era

Hate to break it to you Ramses, but all those flowery denunciations counts as poetry.

I'm going to trust Ramses' instincts on art, he did recognize the acting genius of Rod Huggins.

Probably written by a guy with a floppity arm walk, goddamit Ray.

Ramses strikes me as more of a George Seferis or Michael Ryan man. I also think the right Dickinson verse would knock the breath out of his chest. Don't give up, Rodney Leonard!

That poem just reeks of Strong Bad email #195. Ramses is right to dismiss it as nonsense.

These year end strips are incredible. I can't count how many times I loaded up achewood.com and saw that December 25, 2016 strip. The return of Achewood is a gift I never expected to get but I'm so glad it's here.

Cornelius would hate it too. No scansion to be found, archaic affectations for their own sake.

To be fair that's not a very good poem.

Thank heavens, one that isn't actively depressing.

Hat like that, he should go easier on the poets. Just sayin

Who gave Ramses Luther Smuckles a poem?!
