Plans For 2023 & Beyond

Well, it's been long overdue for an update so we thought to let you know what's in the pipeline for us. As you may know, we still have the duty to complete our "King & Mick 3" collab entry for NDMytp sooner rather than later.

It's been dragging for quite a while as our drive for it has been pretty low, which is frustrating as when it's done we'll have a solid 5 minute YTP ready for all to see. We really want to move forward onto fresher pastures.

One of which will be our much postponed "A Hundred Damnations" Poop, which we are particularly excited to start. It's a pretty simple premise; The two crooks Horace and Jasper discover an ancient treasure among their pillaged goods, which will change their lives forever. It's going to be very energetic and wacky and we can't wait to share it with you all!

Plus we are also weighing up the possibility of starting our much longed return to Wallace & Gromit. We have a story drafted out and are thinking of segmenting it into 3/4 minute parts, kind of like a YTP mini series. But who knows? All we know is that we want to release something Wallace-related when Aardman releases their Star Wars Visions episode on May 4th. 

On other fronts, we're thinking about making an in-depth retrospective of "Fall Of Nottingham" with both of us narrating and talking through our various challenges and techniques behind the scenes and showcase some deleted scenes and plot elements. Maybe a Q&A section at the end too?

Needless to say, this will be quite the new frontier, as we have never revealed our real voices on this channel before, but we think that it will open new possibilities in the future.

Some of you may remember last year we announced a Star Wars project we were formulating? Well, we paused development on it as it needed a lot more thinking, but we can reveal the project will be a hypothetical trailer at around 1:45/2:00 minutes, that portrays an alternative story;

"What would've happened if Luke Skywalker joined his father at the end of TESB?"

It will be quite dark and practically every shot in it will be built from scratch. When we resume work on that, we'll let you know.

And finally, we want to tell you all about a huge YTP passion project of Tomb Raider, we hope to start production on sometime this year;

"YTP: Toot Raider II - Catalyst Of WonkaWorld"

It will be our most ambitious video to date! With character development and story at the fore. That's not to say there won't be humour, far from it! But it will be a very different approach to YTP's than our previous ones. It is fully scripted (well, as fully scripted as any YTP can be lol) and hope to make it a mostly 3D animation based Poop, in the same vein as "Lara Bungles in Binley Jungle" but on a much bigger scale. It will also expand our lore and tie into multiple other stories unlike any other project we have in the works. It's certainly risky, to say the least, as Tomb Raider is not a topic that grabs attention, nor views. But we're confident that it will pay off.

(Just to clarify, none of these projects are coming out in any particular order, and may be subject to change. Also with the exception of the King & Mick Entry, all these images are concept art and have not been finalized yet.)

As all these projects will take a lot of time and energy to make, we're prioritizing our well-being first and taking steps to getting help we both need for our mental and physical health. With that in mind, we may be working at a slower pace than usual.
