Weekly Check In (6/16)

Howdy howdy y'all!!

I wanna try something new and give some insight behind the scenes; peel back the curtain a bit and take some time to demystify a little of what goes on between post to post. And maybe giving y'all a little update each week can help keep me more accountable.

That said I'm not really sure if these will be a week to week thing yet or more bi-monthly (every other week), and I kinda wanna give them a catchy title -- but instead of worrying about the details it's much more fun to just jump into things and figure it out as we go! This week has mostly been me getting back into a solid scheduled work routine. It was something I had going for a while but fell off a bit ago as life got in the way (as it tends to do) and being sick last week not being able to work really put me behind. If you didn't know, art is my full time gig and so buckling down and getting back into the flow of things is very important to me.

So what HAVE I been up to? Mostly working to meet deadlines for VN clients that have been very patient. At the moment I'm juggling a few projects; backgrounds for Cleaved, the occasional character for Lust, and a third secret project! Exciting things that I unfortunately can't share here but I am very excited for you all to have the chance to check out soon™! More details as soon as I get the green light to share I promise!

Part of getting back into a schedule this week was knocking out lots of sketches for Platinum members and the Zangeif sketches. Watched Across the Spider-verse Sunday and that movie made me want to DRAW. Most of my ongoing projects are in the rendering phase though and it's not quite the same; so I was very happy to have new drawings to start.

The plan is to hopefully keep this pace for next week and have a sketch for the monthly piece for y'all. (I'm thinking of doing another Sini piece this month with some openings for cameo slots so keep an eye peeled for that next week if you're interested Gold+ tiers!)
