An earlier Sonic CD script!
Added 2018-06-01 11:27:33 +0000 UTCThe Sonic CD retrospective has so much unused/tweaked stuff over the course of its development, it's frankly crazy and I can't really show all of it since earlier stuff is now so unorganized that it's hard to make sense of any of it. So, this was the state of my script before I got to work on the new format, so when it was still Quickies Don't Cut It. All I can say is: hot damn, is it different from the final videos. I think what's most interesting of all is how the writing in the final videos is quite a bit more concise, which is a great thing to strive for for every video I work on going forward. Some parts were also removed entirely, like the talk about the Spin Dash and Peel Out, which I don't think are really important and substantial enough to comment so much on anymore, and I have a whole section about Palmtree Panic. Ultimately I left shit like this out to keep the videos focused and not dwell on anything.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this look at what an earlier state of the Sonic CD retrospective looked like. :)
