I've Been Gone. Here's Why...

So this post isn't going to be a particularly easy one.
But I will try to keep it short and clear.

I want to start by saying one thing; This post may feel heavy, but I can promise you one thing... I am ok~ I am typing this with gratitude in my heart, and a calm atmosphere in my mind.

So where to start...

This month has been one of the most difficult of my life so far.
At the beginning of February, I suffered a rather devastating family loss.

I had to drop everything. I had to go back. There were people there that needed me, and this wasn't a "walk it off" situation.

Within about 72 hours I was on a plane. Along with this, as I am sure you can understand I stopped uploading. I had 2 videos, that now... just don't seem appropriate anymore.

I spent the last 2 weeks in Canada getting through things and helping my family. It was a challenging time but I am glad that I did it.

There is so much that can be said about everything that happened along the way. There were breakdowns, amazing support from friends, immigration troubles, about half a dozen PCR tests, and so much more. I am sure I will put it into a podcast or story sometime soon, but for now I wanted to touch base with the one crew of people who have made all of this so much easier.

Honestly thanks to your support, I knew the whole time that there would be a community of people that I could turn to if I really ran into trouble along the way.
A community of people that would be there even if I disappeared for a few weeks to take care of life.
A community of people full of love and kindness who genuinely make the world feel just a little better~

So Thank you for being you, and thank you for being here.

I have received so many messages of support over the past few weeks, and want to say thank you so much. I haven't opened any DM's in about 2 weeks, and I honestly appreciate everyone's patience. I didn't want to leave anyone on 'read' and wanted to open them when I could properly process them emotionally and actually respond.

So with that being said... I recorded my first video today in over a month. It felt good. Great actually~
And I can't wait to get it edited and out to everyone!

I hope that this helps bring some perspective and understanding to what has been going on, and I look forward to getting back into things!

I hope that this month has been going well for you and I will see you in the comments below~

Thank you

Norm
