Kikuo appeared in a documentary program of Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK)

For some reason, I have not been able to update this page for a long time. But now that I have released a new song successfully, I will be doing well again.

In this article, I will tell you why.

Since I have a lot of topics to talk about, I will divide them into several articles and publish them frequently.

For those of you who live outside of Japan, you may not be familiar with this, but on March 1, Kikuo appeared in a documentary.

NHK, Japan's official broadcaster, aired a documentary featuring Hatsune Miku. Deco*27-san and Kikuo were both featured extensively in the documentary as vocaloid Ps with conflicting styles, after a lengthy interview process.

This program is very well known in Japan, with almost no one through all generations not knowing about it.

It is also a very significant event for Hatsune Miku to be featured in this way. The show was excellent, and the program received a great response on twitter, with "Kikuo-san" trending along with Hatsune Miku.

The broadcast is now available for a fee. It is said that people from overseas can also purchase and watch it, but of course it is composed in Japanese from the beginning to the end, so it may be a little difficult to watch.

Kikuo's broadcast portion looks like this. I will also add a little backstory.

In contrast to Deco*27-san who works hard in the city, Kikuo lives like a hermit surrounded by mountains... LOL!

This is my production room. I received many surprised reactions, such as, "This is exactly what I envisioned for Kikuo-san."

I can concentrate better if there is some clutter in front of me. It makes me dizzy.

This is the scene of gulping down a large amount of supplements. It made people think he was a crazy guy. lol

They were able to get scenes of me eating properly and eating lots of vegetables, but this part was cropped, which I think was very effective for the video work. lol

This is the controller for the ring-fit adventure that is sealed along with the live costumes.

I am currently compensating for my lack of exercise by exercising heavily in the VR game.

It is a cushion named Yogibo.

It is advertised in Japan as a cushion that is very popular overseas, but in fact, it has exploded in popularity only in Japan.

For Japanese people, the "popular abroad" advertising is very effective. lol

You can take a very comfortable nap. However, the voiceover in this scene says, "Kikuo-san has had trouble adjusting to society and has been diagnosed by his doctor as having an adjustment disorder. 

Has there ever been a way to promote Yogibo like this? lol

This is the reason I have not been able to upload a new song for two years. It was a very interesting time to be interviewed. lol

This is an adult male, stuck for ideas, out in a park in the woods, playing around on an athletic track all by himself.

He also played on the children's swings, slid down a slide, prayed to a mountain god, and did other things. The photographer told me that I was too thankful for the shots.

The scene is narrated by the narrator: "Kikuo-san was working on a Vocaloid song while talking to Hatsune Miku."

This scene seemed to cause much laughter among the viewers. Hatsune Miku? This guy...!? (Do you know Mikudayo?)

It was, of course, a witty joke by the editor.

(The "real" Hatsune Miku and her friends look at Mikudayo, who is sitting in a room of VocaloPs, pretending to be Hatsune Miku. This made me laugh.)

My music was introduced as being very popular among Vocaloid Ps, especially among those from overseas.
