life-long patient of dr. pepper here, i can admit, i was indeed vexed by ted’s slanderous comments against the doctor. i do not agree with the claim that it is simply a “cherry soda”. there is a stark, undeniable difference between other cherry flavored pops and dr. pepper. drink any dr. pepper dupe and any generic cherry pop and they taste very different, in my personal opinion. i think something in the other 22 flavors of dr. pepper set it aside from cherry pops, and i feel like the existence of the cherry dr. pepper also disproves this. good episode.
