Wow, I knew growing up that you couldn’t fish in the James and I knew the Dead Kennedy’s “Kepone Shakes” but it wasn’t until I heard this story that I learned that I, as a very tiny child, grew up downwind of the factory and the cleanup. Thanks Swindled!

Kathleen Gatliffe

Wow, a horrifying story from my home state. Will have to ask that side of my family if they remember the James being shut down.

Alison Ryland

The amount of lives that could be saved by not craving tropical fruit in November in a country where they aren’t produced.

Carlos

"He was making good money, but now that I look back it wasn't worth it" .... Stories like this drive home why things are regulated.

Fuck me, who needs horror stories...that ending left me chilled.

Jenn Eiland

Oh damn. I grew up in richmond, never heard of this. I’ve been told a million reasons why i should never swim in the james and this one beats em all… 😨

Amazing episode. Thank you, ACC.

Amie Redman

Did the workers get compensated ?

Angelika Maerz

The bug couldn't swim...I could hear the laugh in ACC's voice when he said that, lol.

Gigi

Not to self: When asked when i became aware of a problem on the witness stand just say "Well I don't know if I'm totally aware now"

Jo

You keep getting better and better with each episode. Not gonna lie, I've been a bit nervous with all the video releases recently, but it's lovely to see that they're not getting in the way of making new, high quality content. Love the jumpscare at the end! 10/10

Excellent work as always, haunting ending as an outlook for the future. The last judge's decision was outright laughable. Capitalism poisons us, forever and ever (between that and Teflon).

Alan

Yess!!!

New episode! It's a Thanksgiving miracle!
