But I mean... it IS just beef. Maybe it looks gross but most meat looks gross to people who think steak grows from steak trees or whatever. The tongue, lips, eyes, skin, and innards of cattle are all extremely edible and in some cases contain delicious collagen which is good for your joints. I agree that the term "ground beef" should be regulated to mean something specific so you're informed about what you're eating, but refusing to eat Cow Product because 'it's gross' is dumb and wasteful. Also if you're vegan you can go ahead and eat a dick. Non vegans can eat a dick too.

Big meat won a lawsuit against the media for exposing some of the truth about them . I’m amused that commenters feel compelled to tell us how smart they are for being vegan, vegetarian or by packing their kids lunches (and something random about low protein in dry cereal) I love this podcast even when it makes me feel sick . Thanks for the laughs.

Except for some for convenience-based fast food choices I make occasionally almost all of the beef I eat I ground myself. I shoot deer off the property and then mix it 50/50 with local grass-fed ground beef from a farmer I trust. The worst thing that's in my meat is a small piece of lead although I'm switching to lead free ammo starting this season. Cheers to life! Cheers to Swindled.
