Both are heinous, and slowly society seems to be realising that ones gender does not define how affected you are by abuse. It’s the same with domestic violence; while the instance of male victims is much lower than of female, it doesn’t mean the victims are any less affected. Violence in any form against anyone should be dealt with swiftly and appropriately.
