V0.4.rc1.dev2 Released!

So, lots of bugs were found and fixed in the last pre-release version.  Some new features were added to fix some reported issues, and a few options were removed either because they weren't working properly, or are now unnecessary.  See this link for more info on what has changed.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this release!

If you want to help test the new version, you can do so by either:

1.  Install the new version from the plugin manager using this link:  https://github.com/FormerLurker/Octolapse/archive/v0.4.0rc1.dev2.zip

2.  Switch to the 'Devel RCs' OctoPrint Release Channel via the Software Update Plugin to receive an automatic update notification.  Note that you may need to use the Force check for update button (under advanced settings).  See the screen shots below.

The V0.4 Getting Started with Octolapse guide is still under construction, but should be enough to get you started.

Please report any issues here.

Thank you all for helping to make this possible!

P.S.  I've updated the patron list in the about page, so that is up-to-date as of today.

Hi! I see your problem. I don't think options 1 really solves the problem. Option 2 is obvious, and I will add tooltips. Item 3 has already been implemented as a confirmation popup. Here is the current verbiage: You will lose ALL of your octolapse settings by restoring the defaults! Are you SURE? Can you suggest something that will make this more clear? I'm also willing to change the button title if we can think of something clear and short.

Just started using this version and so far so good! It's really great! Just one UI suggestion... I didn't realize the buttons at the bottom affected all the tabs. When setting up, I went to each tab, configuring the options, hitting reset first. Obviously that screwed things up all the time until I figured out what was going on. Possible options: 1) have them fixed and not in the scroll area 2) a tool tip indicating that the buttons are essentially global. 3) a confirmation dialogue at least on reset to defaults explaining what you are about to do. Thanks again!
