I think the best way to look at every character is as their own protagonist. Like, Viktor and Jayce aren't "villains" and Vi and Powder aren't "heroes," they're all protagonists and antagonists :) (which is why nearly every character in this series are my favorites, lol)

2023-06-26 01:16:53 +0000 UTCThere's definitely a recognizable difference in types of technology in the above ground city and the underground city, with the clockwork skylight and the puzzle, and the arcade powered by pipes of chemicals and whatever biotech instantly rewroth that dude's biology, which is a bit spooky, but implies to me it's 100% a place where everyone can get whatever hormones and gender-affirming treatment they need, and there's a lot of people who read Jinx/Powder as trans
